Working with Zoe, Sam aids productions in finding new locations around the city and is vital in making the city home for the duration of their stay. He favours films such as The Shining and Star Wars, specifically Empire Strikes Back– all of which are best experienced comfy and relaxed in his own environment with loved ones. Sam admires the badass nature of Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) from the Alien franchise and hopes he can grow up to be just like her one day. He feels a sense of home pride when it comes to Liverpool, with This City is Ours being one of his first projects with Liverpool Film Office, allowing him to learn the trade and gain valuable experience.
