Isobel oversees the day-to-day finances of the Film Office and coordinates the team, ensuring the film office has the capabilities to accommodate productions within the Liverpool City Region. 

Her favourite movies include Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Fifth Element, Sound of Metal and Scream, films best watched as quietly as possible – meaning no talking! She particularly relates to the character of Ruben Stone (Riz Ahmed) from Sound of Metal, as his frustration and coping with hearing loss resonates with her own experiences. 

Isobel admires Liverpool most of all for its openness and familiarity to anyone lucky enough to visit, a place you’re simply unable to ever truly be lost in, however long you’ve spent here. Her work on one of the city’s finest recent exports, This City is Ours, has been some of her most rewarding while at the Film Office, providing her with plenty of hands-on experience on a large-scale production.
