The proud creator of LFO’s Action! programme, Helen brings over 16 years in the industry as an Assistant Director to the table, using this experience to help connect local crew to productions taking place in the region and nurturing the next generation of trainees looking to make their first steps professionally. Helen’s love for film started with the classic thrillers from the 80s and 90s, which are always made better when watched in good company – whether that be with friends or with snacks!

She not only loves just how friendly her adopted hometown is, but also its amazing architecture and wide range of amenities – there is just so much packed into the city, all within walking distance!
