OUR NORTHERN TV AND FILM GALA

A huge thank you to every single person who attended the 2026 Northern TV and Film Gala at Liverpool Town Hall on Saturday night.

With your support we have been able to raise over £8000 for The Film and TV Charity in just one night, a testament to our team’s supreme effort in bringing the event together, the vital work done by the charity for those in our industry, and above all else, the generosity of the almost 200 attendees!

We hope it was an evening of celebration, connectedness and awareness for all who joined us. Powerful speeches from Marcus Ryder, the CEO of the Film and TV Charity and Jake Mills, CEO of Chasing Stigma shone a light on the issues members of the film and TV industry face and the effects this can have on mental health, and how your funds will directly help crew be supported through these specific challenges.

We’d particularly like to thank our very own Sophie Pinch for leading on organising the event, our key sponsor and Film Office partner Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland Film & TV, as well as Liverpool City Council, LCC Halls, 2Valleys, Avanti West Coast, Helloh Ltd, Lime Pictures, Malmaison Hotel Liverpool, The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool – MGallery Screen Manchester, Translux International Ltd. and Liverpool Film Construction for your support.
