Netflix announces new drama ‘House of Guinness’ – filmed across Liverpool City Region

Netflix have announced the official release date of Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight’s new drama ‘House of Guinness’ – with all 8 episodes coming to your screens on 25th September.

Filmed at iconic locations across the city like St George’s Hall, Croxteth Hall, Stanley Dock and many more across Liverpool City Region, we’re proud to be a part of bringing 1860’s Dublin and New York to life to tell the epic story of one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties – the Guinness family.

Beginning immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness – the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery – the story tells follows the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the worldwide phenomenon that is Guinness.

Starring Happy Valley‘s James Norton and Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Fionn O’Shea Scouser Emily Fairn (The Responder) as the Guinness-clan, creator Knight is excited for audiences to meet the “naturally wild” clan. “I’m just in awe of their zest for life — their lust for life, often literally,” he says.
